Second Week-Starting to get the hang of it now....

It is the second week!!  It so strange, this week has gone by a lot faster than the first. I think it's the fact that I'm actually getting used to the schedule. Last week felt like 5 and this week felt like half a week. I guess it's all a blessing though, because it means I've been busy for sure!!!

So this week was a lot more of getting used to the area and the members. There are some really cool members and they are quite helpful in our efforts, although there are still plenty of things to figure out there.

So we had some fun times this week for sure, but it also got really really busy. We had a lot of lessons throughout the week, teaching different people different lessons about Jesus Christ and his love for us.  It's all about Jesus Christ and how he shows his love. I love this picture below, but I especially love the title 'One by One' because thats exactly how Jesus ministers to us.
As I've been getting adjusted to the area, I'm trying to focus less on things that aren't as important, or the mission politic things. Instead I'm wanting to focus on Jesus Christ, because that's the name on my tag, and that's the name that I'm sharing. The name by which all men can be saved. I read this scripture this week and it really stuck out to me.
2nd Nephi 25: 26 "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."   Remeber it's all about HIM.

I've actually found it fascinating to leave and be in this new place and hear all the people and their understanding of Jesus Christ in their lives. Most of the time, we ask people either "Who is Jesus Christ to you?"  Or "What does Faith in Jesus Christ mean to you?"  And it's so interesting to hear how people who are members of the church, or learning the gospel are founding their testimonies on him and their understanding of his sacrifice. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I've had to bear my testimony of him every day.

I known that's been a long testimony without many questions, but that's just been what's on my mind this week.

Okay, so on Saturday we had like 6 lessons in one day. We went to Golden Corral in the morning for a big breakfast with a member and then drove out of our zone to meet with this guy, Monalisa. He's a big famous Brazilian radio show host and marketer and he took a picture of our meeting and posted us on social media!  It was so cool that he was open to promoting us online.

Today for P Day we went on a walk at this place called Shingle Creek. It was really cool and just chill, but I swear it looked straight outta Princess and the Frog. There was just water and swampy stuff everywhere and that's so different for me, coming from Dry dry dry Utah!

Look at Nature!!! Doesn't God make beautiful things for us??

And of course, it wouldn't be an email without some sort of silly pic to represent the fun times we have, while working of course.

I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love his sacrifice for us. Por todas as pessoas. I've also been working a lot a lot on my Portugeuse. Hopefully I'll be a pro when I go to Brazil!!

One last picture, this is me on the first day with President and Sister Ashcraft!
