Olá gente! Tudo bem?   So! As you can read by the caption of this week's blog, I have officially as of this week been a missionary for the last 6 months!!!  It's crazy!  It's gone by so quickly and I know that the other 18 will go by just as quick, or so I've heard from every other missionary I've talked to.  It's an exciting milestone, but it's also a humbling experience to think that I've still got so so so so so sooooooo much to learn and do here! Milkshakes to celebrate.   It's been a milestones week for the house though! With me at 6 months, Elder Rodrigues at 1 year, and Elder MacDonald with 18 months.  All in one week!  Elder Rodrigues decided to celebrate in an unexpected way, shaving his head! Elder MacDonald is a great stylist, so he did the job and I sat laughing and taking pictures the whole time!   Don't worry, we shaved off the rest of it!!!  It was just for the photo opportunit...

Olá família e amigos!!!   So this will be a fairly brief one.  This week has been pretty chill as we have picked up another missionary for the house!  Me and Elder MacDonald are both staying, but we have a third Brazilian companion named Elder Rodrigues!  It'll be great to have a third person to add into the amazing work in this area.   This week has been very rainy, so we haven't had a whole ton of opportunities to leave the house because no one is on the streets and we don't want to be soaking wet with no one to talk to.  So we've done a lot of calling, a lot of prayers and scripture reads.  I have found the power of just saying a prayer.  And how much everyone wants one.  Every time we ask they are always so eager like "Yes, yes please!"  It makes me always make sure the prayer is earnest, and they can receive the blessings that we ask for as they go forward in faith.   Despite our best efforts, we did get caught i...

Oi Gente!  Feliz Ano Novo!   It is officially 2022 and that's so crazy to think about!  I actually when writing in my journal this week kept on writing 2021 for the date, so it will take some getting used to.  But I'm so grateful for the new year and the fresh new possibilities that will be had!  So this week has been filled with miracles and plenty of lessons.  Me and Elder MacDonald have been working hard as we are finding and talking to people all over!  Calls, the streets, the bus, social media, referrals, all of it! And I've been so grateful because it means that we have just been able to share share share! And that's what we are here for right?  As we as a district have been working we have been working hard on goal setting and how we can fulfill them.  As we made our goals for the week, by yesterday we saw that we wanted to find 9 more people in our district and we had about 2 more hours.  We all praye...
